Along with that shift have come changes in the way the transfer agents operate, organise, manage risk, implement regulations and interact with other stakeholders of the investment funds value chain.

Khaled Lachiheb, Director in the Financial Services Consulting team of PwC Luxembourg. Through many assignments Khaled became expert in the investment fund industry, more specifically for regulatory implementations (e.g., FATCA, MiFID II) and operational topics in the context of transfer agency and fund distribution. This allowed him to work with some of the biggest market players in the context of migration/transfer projects, setup, review and re-engineering of administration and distribution processes. His engagements included expert roles for specific topics as well as coordination/management roles during long-term and large-budget projects.

Marie-Bernadette, Director in PwC Luxembourg’s Financial Services Consulting department. She is specialised in the asset management and Securities Services industry, including UCITS. She’s a seasoned project manager and business process manager, particularly in the fields of governance, risk and compliance. Marie-Bernadette spent more than twenty-five years within large international financial companies: she has an extensive expertise in the implementation of new activities such as the set-up of a Professional of the Financial Sector and the development of a global Transfer Agent model.
