Encouraging companies to take on apprentices as part of initial and adult apprenticeships
The Employment agency (Agence pour le développement de l’emploi – ADEM) offers aids to companies taking on apprentices:
This support is open to any company established in Luxembourg, which is
entitled to train apprentices and which has employed an apprentice
on the basis of an apprenticeship contract or an adult apprenticeship contract.
The trade or profession concerned must be listed in the
Grand-Ducal Regulation determining the professions and trades recognised in the context of vocational training.

Employers who take on an apprentice may obtain reimbursement of part of the apprenticeship allowance and
reimbursement of the employer's share of social security costs.
