Nowadays, it's almost impossible to open a newspaper without encountering an article on 'sustainability'. Whether it's in the context of the financial services industry, the broader economy, or society as a whole, sustainability has become a critical issue. In recent years, it has gained significant traction and is now recognised as a necessity rather than just a trend.

Over the past decade, the focus on environmental issues has grown exponentially, resulting in various global commitments and initiatives aimed at transforming current institutional, economic, and financial models.

This training is focused on 'financing your transformation', aiming to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the financial tools and resources available to support their organisation's transformation journey. Whether it's transitioning to a low-carbon model, implementing sustainability initiatives, or expanding innovative practices, funding plays a crucial role. This course will help participants identify and leverage opportunities, including subsidies, grants, loans, and tax incentives to finance their sustainable transformation effectively.

By the end of this training, participants will:

  • understand different funding mechanisms available for financing transformation, such as government subsidies, grants, and loans;
  • learn how to navigate and apply for public and private funding sources;
  • develop insights into the requirements and eligibility criteria for financial support;
  • gain knowledge of existing financial incentives for sustainable projects, innovation, and low-carbon transformations;
  • explore practical case studies of successful transformations financed through subsidies and grants.
