The private debt asset class has proven to be resilient in the light of the changing economic landscape and geopolitical shifts. This asset class is growing quickly in Europe as companies are looking for financing solutions and investors look at private debt as a good diversification to traditional markets.

In close collaboration with PwC's subject matter experts, PwC Academy has designed a private debt training curriculum that accurately answers many questions around the structure and the administration of private debt funds. It will help you better understand the specifics of private debt industry, raising more and more capital and interest from investors.

Fund reporting regimes, regulatory reporting regimes, products taxation… a world of tax compliance requirements. Depending on the type of investors, its structure, its domicile, its investment and distribution strategy, the fund may be subject to a tax reporting regime (such as German tax reporting, Austrian tax reporting, UK, US, FATCA, CRS, …) or regulatory reporting (i.e. CRR reporting, GroMiKV, Solvency 2, VAG, …).

This particular module covers more particularly the tax and regulatory aspects impacting the debt funds, including the investor's regulatory reporting requirements.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • understand and get more familiar with a complex tax topic;
  • dive into ATAD requirements and international tax matters.

Also participants will be able to understand the requirements of investor tax reporting depending on investors and fund profiles.
