This session provides board members with the knowledge and insights they need to understand why cybersecurity is essential at board level. Participants will gain an understanding of the threat and regulatory landscape, cybersecurity risks and their link with operational consequences, effective monitoring strategies, and the importance of considering the ecosystem, including suppliers and outsourcing risks, in the organization's cybersecurity strategy. Additionally, the training will provide practical tips for integrating cybersecurity into the organization's overall strategy.

At the end of this session, board members will be able to identify key cybersecurity threats and regulatory requirements and explain their impact on organizational operations and governance.

  • The evolving cyber threat landscape and key regulatory frameworks impacting organizations
  • The link between cybersecurity risks and their operational and business consequences
  • The role of third-party relationships: suppliers and outsourcing risks within the cybersecurity strategy
  • How to effectively monitor cybersecurity performance and risk at the board level
  • Best practices for integrating cybersecurity into the organization’s overall strategy and decision-making process
