Slow Down - The Gestalt Way

Once a week for 1,5 hour for 3 weeks

Objectives

  • Develop awareness of when we need to slow down
  • Experience "Slowing down" during the sessions
  • Discuss, develop and train ways to slow down and letting go during everyday life / activities
  • Get awareness and techniques for how to "bounce back" after being out of balance
  • Improving your self-regulation and flow between your gestalt awareness-zones

Content

Session 1:
  • Welcome
  • Breathing exercise
  • Personal balance - in balance - out of balance
  • Awareness exercise
  • End of the evening
Session 2:
  • Staring up again
  • Awareness exercise
  • Bouncing back when we are too fast
  • The 3 gestalt awareness-zones – discussion and practice
  • End of the evening
Session 3:
  • Starting up again
  • Short slow-down exercise
  • Connection of “slowing down” and “letting go”
  • Awareness exercise
  • End of the course
Teaching methods

The sessions are taught in a participatory style. We will be doing many activities/exercises/practices together.
The work will be a combination of individual, pair and group work.
There will be different types of homework between the sessions.

Venue: 68 rue de Beggen, 1220 Luxembourg

Parking: in the street just in front of the building or around the corner at Rue de la Cement
Bus: Number 10 and 11 stops close by.
