Since 2018, the European Business Institute of Luxembourg (EBU), a non-profit institution based at Chateau de Wiltz, has been delivering flexible, internationally aligned higher education to learners across more than 90 countries. In July 2025, EBU formalised a partnership with the Crystal Asige Foundation to deepen its commitment to inclusive education — and the results have been swift and measurable.

To date, over 600 students with disabilities have been supported through this initiative, with hundreds having already completed certificate programmes. Yet demand far exceeds current capacity: more than 4,000 additional students remain on a waiting list, underscoring the scale of unmet need for accessible higher education globally.

EBU's virtual learning environment is built on a Learning Management System independently audited to WCAG Level AA standards, supporting screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, high-contrast viewing, captions, transcripts, and assistive technologies. Accessibility is not retrofitted — it is engineered into course design, communication, and student support from the outset.

As a member of lifelong-learning.lu, a Luxembourg Ministry-approved institution with blockchain-verified credentials and a 4.4 out of 5 Trustpilot rating from its global learner community, EBU's framework reflects a single conviction: that inclusive education is not the exception — it is the standard.
