Possess a remote pilot certificate of category OPEN A1/A3
Minimum age: 14 years
Please have a laptop or tablet and bring it with you on the day of the training.

Quels sont les objectifs poursuivis ou les compétences visées ?

At the end of this training, the learner will be able to:
1. Execute basic drone maneuvers and fly under minimal-risk conditions as imposed by the legal restrictions in sub-categories A1 and A3;
2. Understand and comply with the operational limitations in sub-categories A1 and A3 (no flights over assemblies of people, height limitation, operator registration, etc.);
3. Apply basic pre-flight planning and safety procedures in low-risk scenarios.

Quel est le contenu de la formation ?

Review of regulatory boundaries for drone operations in sub-categories A1 and A3 (what is allowed: e.g., no overflight of uninvolved people, max. flight height of 120 m AGL, respect of UAS geographical zones, operator registration, liability insurance);
Basic drone controls & handling: take-off / landing, hover, basic maneuvers, altitude control, orientation, return to home (RTH), failsafe reaction.
Pre-flight checks of drone, battery, GNSS lock, obstacle awareness, environment check, risk of overflight, etc.
Basic flight planning: choice of flight area, ensuring no uninvolved people or assemblies of people, horizontal & vertical buffer zones.
Emergency drills: safe landing in case of GNSS signal loss, RTH handling in case of RC signal loss, battery fail and fallback procedures.
Log-keeping of flights flown, flight conditions and anomalies to build the pilot’s flight experience record.

Mode d'organisation

1. Dress Code
The practical training will take place primarily outdoors. It is essential to wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions (cold or sun). Please take precautions for your comfort and safety.

2. Cancellation Policy by Participant
In case of cancellation less than 72 hours before the start of the training, the full fee will be charged, unless a medical certificate is provided.

3. Cancellation by Organizer
In case of adverse weather conditions or force majeure, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the training.
Participants will be informed as soon as possible.
