Objectifs

This 2-day practitioner workshop enables participants to redesign business processes using Business Process Reengineering, Artificial Intelligence and AI workflows.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify outdated, inefficient or fragmented business processes.
  • Analyse an AS-IS process and detect waste, delays, manual handovers, risks and value gaps.
  • Recognise where AI, automation, generative AI and AI agents can create measurable business impact.
  • Map AI opportunities across business workflows.
  • Redesign a process into a TO-BE intelligent workflow.
  • Define the role of humans, AI agents, data, systems and approvals in a future-state process.
  • Build an AI opportunity map and prioritise use cases by value, feasibility, risk and implementation effort.
  • Create a practical transformation blueprint for a pilot initiative.
  • Present a business case for AI-enabled process transformation.

The training focuses on practical application and helps participants move from process improvement to strategic transformation.

Contenu

Practitioner Option : The training follows the transformation journey: Disrupt. Reimagine. Reengineer. Transform.

Day 1 — Understanding and diagnosing the current process

Participants are introduced to the concept of Business Process Reengineering and its relevance in the age of AI, automation and AI workflows. The session explains how organisations can move beyond incremental optimisation and redesign processes around value, speed, intelligence and resilience.

The first day includes:

  • Introduction to Business Process Reengineering.
  • From process improvement to business disruption.
  • BPR + AI as a strategic transformation method.
  • Overview of AI, generative AI, automation and AI workflows.
  • Difference between automation, copilots and AI agents.
  • Identifying high-value business processes for transformation.
  • Mapping the AS-IS process.
  • Detecting inefficiencies, bottlenecks, rework, manual tasks and risk points.
  • Mapping data, systems, decisions and human interventions.
  • Analysing process pain points and business impact.
  • Selecting a priority process for redesign.

Day 2 — Reengineering the process with AI and building the TO-BE blueprint

The second day focuses on redesigning the selected process using AI capabilities and agentic workflow principles. Participants define where AI can support, automate or augment business activities and create a practical transformation blueprint.

The second day includes:

  • AI opportunity mapping across the process.
  • Identifying where to use rules, automation, generative AI, AI agents or human approval.
  • Human-in-the-loop design and governance principles.
  • Redesigning the process around business value.
  • Creating the TO-BE intelligent workflow.
  • Defining agent roles, data needs, system integrations and decision points.
  • Building a value, feasibility and risk prioritisation matrix.
  • Defining KPIs and expected business benefits.
  • Designing a pilot roadmap.
  • Preparing a short executive pitch for the transformed process.

The workshop ends with a practical presentation of the TO-BE blueprint and transformation roadmap.
