Objectifs

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is certainly the most significant personal data legislation in the past 20 years.

The GDPR impacts our day-to-day activities more than we realise. Sufficient awareness of the key concepts is key to ensure an appropriate data protection culture within organisations.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • recognise the core principles of the GDPR;
  • identify the key GDPR requirements impacting your organisation;
  • be aware of the risks while processing personal data, regardless your department affiliation;
  • understand the concept of “accountability” and how to demonstrate it;
  • have a view on how to manage cross-border data transfer in the context of GDPR;
  • be aware of the impacts the GDPR has on current hot topics, such as AI, cloud migration and outsourcing
  • understand how the GDPR has been enforced in Europe and in Luxembourg.
