No previous knowledge is required. All participants with an interest in data protection or GDPR are very welcome. The course will be tailored to suit the sector experience of course participants.

Objectifs

develop a basic knowledge of the principles and standards used in risk management
identify relevant risks
use acquired skills and a practical toolkit to help identify indicators of risk and aid the overall governance of data protection and information security in your organisation
implement the governance of data protection and information security in your organisation through the adoption and implementation of a risk-based approach
develop practical solutions in response to the challenges encountered during the implementation of a risk-based approach
carry out data impact assessments required by GDPR in certain circumstances
