Are your innovation initiatives and projects fit for the next normal? How to become and stay "future-proof", particularly in the times of accelerating change? Focusing on the incremental product innovations and standard R&D practices is not sufficient.

This practical training will help you to turn crisis into opportunity by helping you reimagine the future and conceive new business models to add to the present ones. A carefully thought-through set of business models will help your company operate in the current circumstances, while at the same time prepare for the changing circumstances and future.


  • Make most frequent and crucial decisions regarding managing innovation projects and innovators. Participants will learn core innovation management principles, frameworks and analytic tools that they can use to resolve the dilemmas that innovators at different organizational levels (from a team lead to the CEO) face.
  • Develop the ‘innovator’ attitude and ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity through classroom practice. Without the right mindset, it is almost impossible to make the right managerial decisions. The autonomy, collaboration and ability to deal with uncertainty (I don´t have enough information) and ambiguity (problem is unclear) is necessary for future innovators and – as the world becomes more dynamic in general- for most high-profile management positions.
Pädagogische Methoden

This course is centered on experiential learning. We will work on actual innovation problems and combine this with simulations and exercises to provide the balance between inputs from faculty and experience of practitioners.


Zertifikat, Diplom

The participants will obtain a certificate from the Luxembourg School of Business. Our school is certified by the Ministry of Education as a lifelong learning organism and member of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

Ivanka Visnjic is an Associate Professor of Innovation at ESADE Business School, where she also acts a Director of Institute for Innovation and Knowledge Management. Previously, Ivanka worked at a consulting firm McKinsey & Co, completed a Ph.D. at KU Leuven in Belgium and helped set up the business-led partnership, Cambridge Service Alliance, at the University of Cambridge.

Ivanka has been working closely with C-suite and senior management teams of a number of global companies, such as Atlas Copco, BAE Systems, Caterpillar, GEA, IBM, Novozymes, Pearson, and Zoetis. Ivanka has thought in MBA and Executive Programs with participants from all around the globe and from sectors such as pharmaceutical, industrial and financial services.

Ivanka has received IBM Faculty Award as well as scholarships and awards from various academic institutions. Her research has been published in prestigious academic journals, California Management Review, Journal of Operations Management and Journal of Product Innovation Management.
