ILA is a non-profit organisation founded on 14th April 2005. It was launched in Luxembourg following the Second European Conference on Corporate Governance organized jointly by the European Presidency and the European Commission in order to aid and support Directors in their functions. ILA is an active member of ecoDa, the European Confederation of Directors Associations.
This course is designed for new aspiring directors (executive and non-executive), as well as board members representing employees, senior managers, company secretaries and other professionals interacting with boards who are looking to gain essential understanding of the role of a board and its directors.
No pre-requiste is required.
The objective of this course is to understand the key roles, duties and liabilities of directors, as well as the Luxembourg legal framework and governance environment.
This course will explore the legal and regulatory aspects and provide participants with best practices and practical advice.
The programme is designed to be highly interactive, and is facilitated by Luxembourg experts.
A certificate of participation will be provided to participants who have fully attended the course.
The presentation will be distributed to the participants ahead of the training.
