Complete your Secondary School Leaving Diploma or Technician's Diploma with a recognised vocational training diploma
The holders of a Classical or General Secondary School Leaving Diploma or of a Technician's Diploma (or equivalent) have the possibility to take a one-year vocational training course leading to the Vocational Aptitude Diploma (DAP).
This training course is designed for young graduates who want to earn an additional vocational qualification through intensive studies. In just one year, they can learn and exercise a practical trade where manual dexterity counts as much as precision, technical knowledge and customer relationships.
Depending on the DAP sought, the training course comprises between 35 and 40 hours of teaching per week. Alongside practical and technical learning at school, it also includes work placement periods. The training course is organised by the Department of Vocational Training (SFP) of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth and forms an integral part of the Luxembourgish school system. The 1re DAP training course generally follows the school calendar, running from 15 September to 15 July.
