Essential of Labour Law

Get to know the basics of labour law by having a general, quick and practical overview of individual and collective labour relations.

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to:

• Familiarise themselves with labour law methods and practices
• Handle the management of employment contracts (conclusion and termination)
• Understand regulations related to working relationships, including the various types of leave available
• Understand basic legal rules specially applying to certain categories of employees (e.g. pregnant women, part-time workers, temporary workers, etc.)
• Have basic knowledge on collective labour relations, and the administrative structures and labour courts/jurisdictions

• Nature and structure of labour law
• Administrative structures and labour-related jurisdictions (overview)
• Employment contract (conclusion and termination)
• Different types of leave available
• Specificities related to certain categories of employees
• Moral and sexual harassment at work

At the end of the training course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance delivered by the House of Training.
