Objectifs

This training is designed to demystify the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting key concepts and requirements for insurance companies (life and/or non-life) and highlight the organisational and operational challenges and impacts.

By the end of the training, participants will:

  • gain a good understanding of CSRD requirements, along with the organisational and operational related impacts and challenges on insurance companies (life and/or non-life);
  • be able to implement a practical high-level roadmap to ensure future compliance with CSRD.

Contenu

  • Main concepts and requirements (timeline, scoping, value chain/boundaries, Double Materiality Assessment (DMA), datapoints);
  • Impacts and challenges specific to the insurance industry;
  • Governance and responsibilities for the Board, the management, the audit committee, CSO and CFO.

Informations supplémentaires

This training is coordinated by Claire Cherpion, risk assurance director at PwC Luxembourg.

Claire focuses on sustainability reporting assurance and consulting. She provides leadership and C-suite strategy advice on ESG for clients in financial services, corporations, SME’s and the public sector.

She is actively involved in PwC's CSRD/TCFD working groups. She is certified by Cambridge business and climate change – Towards net zero emissions.
