BT-H/V (Q) - Electrical qualification - Qualified personnel

Any qualified personnel (mainly electricians) required to carry out or supervise electrical operations on low-voltage installations

• Understand the dangers of electricity and be able to identify and analyze electrical risks
• Enable electricians to apply safety regulations when performing operations on electrical installations
• Ensure their ability to adapt these regulations to the specific areas and situations of their establishments

Theory

• Authorization for specific work, current standards
• Documents, plans, diagrams, design of electrical installations and equipment
• Risk assessment and general prevention principles
• Effects of electric current on the human body
• Electrical installations and equipment and their classification
• Hazards (direct, indirect contact, short circuit, etc.)
• Personal and collective protective equipment (PPE)
• Principles of lockout and lockout
• Demarcation, signage, environmental influences
• Electrical safety equipment and its verification
• Risks of implementing the work tools used
• Basics of first aid and fires on electrical installations and equipment

Practice

Work on de-energized electrical installations and equipment or near live parts

Attestation préparatoire à l'habilitation électrique

A refresher course is required five years after the date of the last training certificate.
