Objectifs
The goal of this education programme is to provide basic expertise in structure and functionality of the Money Market & Treasury fields and its products. This includes the underlying mathematics and the economic functionality of the traded financial products.

The programme, which includes a one week preparatory course and a two hour examination, is structured around the following topics:
- Basic financial mathematics
- Monetary policy
- Money markets and their derivatives
- Foreign exchange
- Options
- Legal and regulatory framework
- Risk management
- Processing & bank operations
- Code of conduct

Audience:
The programme targets new entrants and professionals with up to 2 years of experience in the following roles:
- Money market, STIR and FX traders, sales traders
- Risk managers banking and corporate treasurers
- Employees working in middle office, back office or operations
- Institutional investors (funds, pension funds, custodians)
- Risk controllers (market risk and model validation)
- Portfolio manager, asset & liability managers
- Students in business administration and finance
- Research associates of University

Programme schedule The one week preparatory course and the exam will be held in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg.
- Preparatory course week: Monday - Friday 19 - 23 September 2022, from 8:30 until 12:30 and from 13:30 until 17:30
- Exam: Monday 24 October or Monday 25 November 2022 or Monday 30 January 2023 from 13:30 until 15.30 Programme fees
- For non-LFMA members: EUR 2 550 exam fee included
- LFMA members are entitled to a special rate of EUR 2 250, exam fee included. In this case, please contact the House of Training's Customer Service department prior to registration to enable the discount.
