Lunch’n’Learn - Moving Premises? A Great Opportunity for Change!
MindForest SA - 08/10/2019
MindForest is delighted to invite you to its next Lunch’n’Learn in English.
Often simply perceived as a real estate and logistics project, companies tend to forget that a move inevitably also involves a lot of change that needs managing.
There is so much more at stake than moving from A to B, especially as the human aspect needs to be taken into account.
Firstly, the geographical change is likely to have a huge impact on employees. Secondly, a move is often a reflection of changes within the organization and thus provides an excellent opportunity to rethink ways of working.
It may offer new opportunities for employees to structure their work differently (e.g. tele-working, flex time), similarly the structure of the workplace can be reviewed in terms of space optimization, digitization, process improvement or new ways of working. This again has an influence on employees and in a broader sense on the very culture of the company.
During this Lunch’n’Learn, Aurélie Poncelet will introduce you to the topic; you will gain an understanding of the changes related to a company move, as well as receiving some ideas about how to navigate such a project.
With a background in civil engineering, Aurélie Poncelet is a Senior Change Management Consultant at MindForest, where her experience in move projects has helped several clients to successfully implement changes triggered by a such event.
