Who is the training course aimed at?

Senior management, compliance and legal officers, data protection officers, IT and HR managers in companies established in Luxembourg that develop, purchase or use artificial intelligence systems.

What are the prerequisites?

No technical prerequisites. A general understanding of the company's information systems is useful.

What are the aims or the skills being targeted?

Give the managers concerned a working command of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act: establish whether the company acts as a provider or a deployer, classify its AI systems by risk level, identify the resulting obligations, and build a compliance plan proportionate to its size and means.

What does the training course cover?

An 8-hour programme over two weeks. Week one sets the framework: scope, definitions, roles and risk levels. Week two is applied: an inventory of the AI systems participants actually use, their classification, the corresponding obligations, and the drafting of an action plan.

What topics are addressed?

Scope and definitions

  • provider, deployer, importer, distributor
  • risk levels and what they require
  • prohibited practices
  • high-risk systems and required documentation
  • transparency obligations
  • general-purpose AI models
  • internal governance, system register and responsibilities.

What teaching methods are used?

Online small-group training. Every regulatory concept is applied to the systems participants actually use, building an inventory and a risk classification during the session.

How is the assessment organised?

Assessment through practical cases: classifying real AI systems and identifying the applicable obligations.

What will you receive at the end of the training course?

Named certificate of attendance stating hours and topics covered. This course is an awareness and preparation exercise; it constitutes neither a compliance audit nor legal advice.

What course materials are provided?
