Goals

Effective risk management has become a critical priority across the entire financial industry. Recognizing this growing need, the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) and the House of Training have jointly developed a comprehensive Risk Management training programme. This programme offers a recognized professional qualification tailored not only for banking professionals, but also for managers and specialists from other areas of financial services who seek to build a strong foundation in risk management.

The programme consists of nine targeted courses, each designed to build specific knowledge and skills in risk management.

Participants’ understanding and professional competencies are assessed through written examinations based on the content of each course.

To get the Risk Management for Banks Specialist certification, candidates must complete 10 days of training and successfully pass the exam for each course.

New in 2025: This updated programme includes newly introduced courses, enhancing and expanding the content compared to previous editions.

Exams are available for all those seeking to certifiy their experience through recognised certification.
