Who is the training course aimed at?

Industry professionals: insurance company personnel, experts, insurance advisors, brokers, sub-brokers or wealth engineers, wealth planners, private bankers whose clientele is interested in insurance.

What are the aims or the skills being targeted?

The objectives of this training (Part 2) are to familiarize participants with the specific legal and administrative obligations of brokers. It aims to provide participants with a thorough understanding of recent regulations and best practices in these areas, in order to enhance their compliance and professionalism in their brokerage activities.

What does the training course cover?

This second part of the training includes a thorough exploration of the specific legal and administrative obligations of brokers, such as confidentiality, compliance with international contracts, prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing, as well as product governance. Participants will gain a detailed understanding of recent regulations and best practices in these areas, with concrete case studies and interactive discussions to enhance their learning.

What teaching methods are used?

Interactive Presentations:

  • Utilization of visual presentations to explain key concepts.
  • Integration of interactive elements such as Q&A sessions and discussions to maintain participant engagement.

How is the assessment organised?

Knowledge quiz with a few questions in the form of multiple choice questions introduced at the beginning of the session.
Certificate provided at the end of the session, subject to completion of the quiz.

What other information is useful to know?

Good practices:
  • Arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the training
  • Before the training: do an audio/video test (all too often video conferences lose 10 to 15 minutes due to connection problems)
  • Be on time for the start of the training

  • Use headphones
  • Be in a quiet environment
  • Have a good internet connection
  • Turn off your mobile phone for the duration of the training
  • Avoid doing several things at the same time
  • Be punctual
  • Sit in a secluded and convenient place for your cables and taking notes.
  • Isolate yourself from any kind of distraction and noise for the duration of your training.
  • Settle into a dedicated space, an office for example, and make sure to lock the door when you work - so that your colleagues don't pop in unexpectedly;)
