La gemmothérapie utilise les bourgeons et les jeunes pousses d’arbres et d’arbustes préparés à l’état frais, par macération directe dans un mélange eau alcool glycérine.

L’extrait gemmothérapique renferme tout le génie de la plante dont est issu le bourgeon.
