Goals

You know that most people experience moments of low energy and mental fatigue throughout their working day. A cause could be their inefficient breathing patterns...shallow, fast, or through the mouth. Studies have shown that poor breathing habits are one of the leading causes of low energy and poor concentration at work. The result? A hidden drain on productivity and well-being that affects your team’s performance more than you might think.

The objectif of this training is help participants to become aware of their own breathing habits. Understand and feel how breathing patterns directly influence nervous system regulation and cognitive function.

Contents

Participants will learn about functional breathing and about 3 key fundamental breathwork protocols to down-regulate (calm), up-regulate (energize), and re-balance the nervous system in real time.

Points covered

We cover a bit of theory to provide context for the exercises. Therefore, we talk about:

  • respiratory physiology,
  • the autonomic nervous system,
  • the effects of our breathing on our physical and mental state,
  • scientific studies,
  • and above all, practice.

Teaching methods

Our methods are based on certified breathing protocols, all supported by scientific studies. Participants will learn and experience these protocols during the training.

Course material

Following the training, we provide participants with a document compiling all the protocols learned and practiced during the session, so they can continue practicing on their own.
