Prérequis

To enroll in this course, candidates must first have taken the "CCNA-Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials" course, or have passed a test to validate the skills needed to take this course.

Objectifs

Large enterprises depend heavily on the smooth operation of their network infrastructures.

The final course in the CCNA series covers the architecture, security, and operation of an enterprise network, along with introducing the new ways in which network engineers interact with programmable infrastructure.

It covers wide area network (WAN) technologies and quality of service (QoS) mechanisms used for secure remote access along with the introduction of software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support the digitalization of networks.

Contenu

Candidates will learn these core skills:

  • Discover key concepts of software-defined networking, including controller-based architectures and application programming interfaces (APIs).
  • Implement advanced technologies to support a secure and scalable enterprise network architecture.
  • Configure enterprise networks for high availability and optimized performance.
  • Deepen your understanding of virtualization, SDN, and how APIs and configuration management tools enable network automation:
    • be able to set advanced mechanisms and OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols;
    • know how to set parameters on switches via remote access;
    • be able to configure, test and maintain VLAN;
    • understand the operation and benefits of aggregation links.
  • Learn to identify cybersecurity threat, mitigate them and enhance network security using access control lists and security best practices:
    • know how to configure and troubleshoot the operation of DHCP in IPv4 and IPv6 networks;
    • understand the operation and benefits of STP protocol to prevent loops in the network;
    • know how to configure and troubleshoot the operation of STP protocol;
    • know how to configure and troubleshoot problems in complex networks for IPv4 and IPv6.
  • Prepare for 200-301 Certification.
FOR WHICH TYPE OF CAREER?

Completion of your course could lead to a career as a:

  • Network Support Engineer
  • Infrastructure Network Engineer
  • Network Operations Engineer
  • Network Analyst
  • Network Administrator
  • Sales Engineer/Virtual Account Manager

are just a few of the possible careers after 200-301 Certification depending on your previous job and skills.
