Two major events for a digital future
Luxinnovation - 28/03/2022
On 31 March and 1 April, Luxinnovation is organising two major events for companies interested in digital transformation, industry 4.0 and data management.
Gaia-X is aimed at building a federated, secure European data infrastructure. In just one year, the initiative has reached several important milestones in its effort to establish federated services for secure and reliable exchange of data between organisations.
On 31 March, the conference "Gaia-X: The Most Important Aspiration in a Generation – Challenges & First Achievements" aims to discuss this initiative’s objectives, achievements and challenges that lie ahead in the implementation of a trusted and digitally sovereign cloud platform across Europe.
"The event has been specifically designed to explain where we are with Gaia-X and also to answer specific questions that people have on a regular basis, for example about topics like funding, the European landscape and the data economy in general. We will also talk about Gaia-X’s trusted framework and how it acts as an enabler in creating an environment of transparency," explains Ralf Hustadt, Special Advisor, Digitalisation, Data Economy & Gaia-X at Luxinnovation.
Launched in early 2021, the Luxembourg Gaia-X Regional Hub acts as a facilitator for Luxembourg organisations interested in joining the Gaia-X initiative. The conference is organised in cooperation with the Cloud Community Europe-Luxembourg (CCEL), FEDIL, ICT-Luxembourg and Luxinnovation.

L-DIH Talks: Digital transformation fostering innovation and competitiveness
The industry of the future is already at our doorstep. What can we learn from the best in class? What are the driving forces of Luxemburg’s industry of the future?
In order to answer these questions, the Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub (L-DIH) is launching the '22 series of its popular L-DIH Talks.
From April to December 2022, we invite you to join 8 webinars (taking place once a month on Fridays from 11:00 to 12:00) that will highlight best practises, practical examples and solutions that can support your digital transformation strategy.
This webinar series will focus on the opportunities and challenges deriving from the increasing integration of the two worlds of IT and production, the proliferation in supply chain and customer demand management as well as cybersecurity threads.
We will look at digital trends that impact digital transformation plans and review the potential of the latest technologies. Selected companies together with their solution providers are invited and will share practical experience from their own digital transformation successes as a source of inspiration and inside knowledge for you.
