Goals

  • Useful expressions used in professional e-mail writing and the different conventions in starting and finishing an e-mail
  • Using language effectively to communicate a difficult message by e-mail
  • Writing emails that are sensitive to both your audience (client, supplier facing, internal) and to the cultural context
  • Writing emails that convey clear and powerful messages

Contents

Participants will improve their fluency and accuracy when using the English language by writing professional e-mails.

They will improve their broader professional skills by writing emails that have the right level of formality, clarity and cultural awareness. Our approach to training is highly interactive and based on real-world scenarios, we share best practices and provide you with a set of useful email templates to use in your daily work. You will develop your email writing skills in a range of business contexts, including writing a progress update to your manager, writing a first contact email to a customer, and sending a meeting request to a customer.
