  • To specify the basic rules of the VAT
  • To determine the obligations resulting from the exercise of an economic activity

What does the training course cover?

VAT is a complex matter whose basic rules have to be understood upstream before carrying out transactions downstream.

It is important that these rules are clearly circumscribed in order to comply with the requirements of the VAT law. The aim of this workshop is to go through the main characteristics of the VAT, to define the most important notions of this matter (e.g. taxable person, place of supply) and to determine the obligations required to comply with the law (e.g. registration, invoicing).

This whole session will be based exclusively on the legal basis and will put the emphasis on the reasoning of the VAT law either at a national or European level.
