Who is the training course aimed at?

Treasurer and Cash Managers wishing to further develop their knowledge.

What are the prerequisites?

Have already some basics knowledge and experience in Trade Finance and/or have completed the training "Trade Finance Applied to Treasury - Fundamentals".

What are the aims or the skills being targeted?

This module is part of the certified path"International Treasury Management and Corporate Finance - Advanced". It can also be taken independently.

Upon successful completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

Have an in-depth understanding over the security instruments used in trade finance activities, their specificities, their governing rules, their potential cost, complexity and underlying risks
Understand what the available alternate instruments are
Understand the trade finance market shape today, as well as the technologies available to help transact more efficiently
Support senior commercial and credit coordinators in companies of any size
Be capable to advise internal customers over complex situations and become key stakeholders in the decision making process
