People with disabilities are an important and vastly underutilized resource for businesses. Many people with disabilities are underemployed or unemployed. Due to diversity advocates and shrinking labor pools, employers are seriously looking at hiring and retaining people with disabilities. This course will give supervisors, managers and human resources consultants tools and tips to create a diverse workplace.

This will help you know how to:

Prepare to welcome people with disabilities to their workplace
Interact with people with disabilities
Identify and overcome obstacles in the workplace
Use respectful, appropriate and acceptable language in all circumstances
Understand what their company can do when hiring and interviewing
