What are the aims or the skills being targeted?

Language Courses for Specific Purposes (LSP) has been primarily used to refer to two areas of applied linguistics:

1. Focus on researching language variations in a particular area.
2. Focus on language education and training needs.

People usually have an intermediate language level, but not for a specific profession.

For example, you have taken years of language lessons, but when you go to a negotiating table, the vocabulary is totally different.

To learn this new vocabulary, you can take a specific course on the desired subject and according to your needs.

Ex:

English, French or German for business
English or Spanish for marketing
Portuguese or French for customer service
English or Italian for tourism
German or English for healthcare professionals
Chinese or Japanese for airport crews and employees

and much more in 40 other languages for several professional fields.

Increase your career opportunities by choosing a course that helps you learn more about the language in your professional context.
