What are the aims or the skills being targeted?

Adapted according to the level of the learner:

Beginner:

Acquire basic knowledge.
Be able to communicate in a simple way with a slow-speaking interlocutor
Be able to understand and use colloquial expressions and very simple statements
Know how to write short and simple texts

Intermediate:

Consolidate oral and written knowledge
Be able to understand the main points of a speech on familiar subjects (professional and general) when the interlocutor uses clear and standard language
Know how to write texts in everyday language (general or professional field)
Be able to carry on a conversation without preparation

Advanced:

Consolidate and expand knowledge (oral and written)
Know how to read, understand and write texts, articles, complex reports relating to the general and/or professional field
Ability to follow complex arguments on relatively familiar topics
Be able to communicate with ease, actively participate in a conversation, defend one's opinions
