Learn a language with a tutor, one-to-one or in a small group, on a convenient online platform. No app to install. Corporate and individual courses, all levels.

Who is the training course aimed at?

Employees across all sectors in Luxembourg, from complete beginners to advanced speakers wishing to refine their professional French. Employer-formed groups or inter-company pathways.

What are the prerequisites?

No prerequisites for level A1. For higher levels, a free placement test is carried out before enrolment so that groups are formed at a consistent level.

What are the aims or the skills being targeted?

Develop the four skills — listening, reading, speaking and writing — up to the target CEFR level, in a Luxembourg working environment where French remains a dominant working language.

What does the training course cover?

A structured pathway by CEFR level (A1 to C1):

  • listening — meetings, calls, messages
  • speaking — presentations, meetings, negotiation
  • reading — emails, reports, administrative documents
  • writing — professional emails, reports, notes

Each level ends with an assessment and an individual review.

What teaching methods are used?

How is the assessment organised?

Continuous oral and written assessment. Placement test at the start and an end-of-module level review, aligned with CEFR descriptors.

What will you receive at the end of the training course?

Named certificate of attendance issued at the end of the course, stating hours completed and level reached. Suitable as evidence in a company training plan.

What course materials are provided?

Online learning platform available 24/7, with no app to install. Digital course materials, videos, lectures and webinars included.

CECRL - Level A1: what are we talking about?

Anyone who has reached this level:

  1. Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
  2. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people
  3. he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is
  4. prepared to help.
