Who is the training for?

Anyone wishing to develop the know-how to monitor, detect and respond to cybersecurity threats (professional approach to the new security trends and preparation for CCNA - Cybersecurity Ops Certification)

Prerequisites

Successful completion of the module “Cybersecurity essentials” (C1530) or proof equivalent certified knowledge. Recommended knowledge and skills: in Basic Windows and Linux system concepts; Basic Networking concepts; Binary and Hexadecimal understanding; Awareness of basic programming concepts; Awareness of basic SQL queries

Goals

Install virtual machines to create a safe environment for implementing and analysing cybersecurity threat events.
Explain the Windows and the Linux Operating System features and characteristics needed to support cybersecurity analyses.
Monitor, detect and respond to cybersecurity threats.
Covers cryptography, host-based security analysis, security monitoring computer forensics, attack methods and incident reporting and handling.
Deepen knowledge in detecting and respond to security incidents.
Identify, classify, analyse the impact by using network monitoring tools s against network protocols and services.
Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills using real equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer.
