Business Law is an introductory course on the different legal features that underlie business transactions. The course aims to provide students with the skills required to have a basic understanding of the various concepts found in Law. Students will begin by looking at the essential elements of the legal system which will lay down the foundations for the subsequent topics of the law of obligations, employment law and the formation and constitution of business organizations. This course, complemented by Corporate Law, will allow the students to have an adequate and sufficient manipulation of legal theories approaching the CPA exam.
After taking the course of Business Law students should be able to:1. Grasp the concept of the law and how legal systems work.2. Understand the basic tools to benefit them in their professional careers.3. Enable the analysis of legal papers with a basic understanding of the law.4. Explain and apply the law applied to employment relationships5. Recognise and apply the appropriate legal concepts relating to the law of obligations
The online delivery blends synchronous and asynchronous components. Students complete self-directed assignments hosted on the course platform. Weekly Forums support a required active, rubric-based student contributions that foster collaboration.

You will need to create a new account.During the Account creation process, you will be requested to indicate how you heard about the program and to select the partner organization on a drop-down list. STEP 2: COMPLETE THE COMMITMENT FEE PAYMENTTo enroll in the Autumn Term courses, go to the Certificate Enrolment pageSelect the course you would like to enroll in and click ‘Enroll Now’.Select Payment Type and click proceed.Enter card details to complete the commitment fee payment.
