What are the aims or the skills being targeted?

The course is for those who already have a good base in English but wish to improve their fluency through structured conversation. It is a varied course using different teaching methods such as audio-visual, newspaper articles, individual presentations, radio programmes, games, etc. Only English is spoken and the method is total immersion.

CECRL - Level B2: what are we talking about?

Anyone who has reached this level:

Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her
field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native
speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and
explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
