The University of Luxembourg is pleased to announce the official launch of the Institute for Innovative Teaching and Learning (I²TL). We welcome academics, educators, and professionals from Luxembourg and beyond to discover this new institute, created to advance educational excellence by consolidating the University’s efforts in teacher development and digital education, while supporting a wide range of pedagogical initiatives and collaborations. The event will feature a keynote address by Prof. Philippe Parmentier, Professor and Director of the Administration for Education and Training at UCLouvain, on Pedagogical Transformation of Higher Education. The programme also includes opening remarks by Rector, Jens Kreisel and Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Philippe Hiligsmann, who will serve as Master of Ceremonies and deliver the closing address. A reception will follow the formal programme, offering attendees the opportunity to meet the founding team and explore future collaborations within the I²TL framework. We look forward to welcoming you to this milestone event.
