Who are Guest Students? Guest Students are people across all ages and educational backgrounds, permitted to attend a maximum of three courses per semester at the University of Luxembourg. The course programme is published in August for the winter semester and in January for the summer semester. The enrolment fee per semester is 50 euros. Enrolled Guest Students receive a student card and a general enrolment certificate (the courses attended are not stated on this certificate). Guest Students do not take part in evaluation modalities and therefore do not receive any transcripts of records or ECTS. Guest Students have the opportunity to actively participate in the academic dialogue and to continue their education without obligation. The guest student programme at the University of Luxembourg is open only to individuals who reside in Luxembourg and are able to attend classes on campus in person. How can I enroll as a Guest Student at the University of Luxembourg? The next enrolment period for the Winter Semester 2026/2027 will take place from 31 August to 21 September 2026. During this time, you must both register administratively via the Admission Portal and enroll in the courses. Places are available on a first come, first served basis. We offer our "Online Enrolment Days" on Belval Campus on 04.09, 11.09 & 16.09. from 2–4 p.m. to assist with enrolment. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please send us a short email.
