In Luxembourg, through continuing training, there are alternative means of obtaining a general secondary education diploma.
General Secondary School Leaving Diploma
Acquire a General Secondary School Leaving Diploma (Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires générales - DFESG) in the management section of the administrative and commercial division or a diploma as social education worker by attending a sandwich course.
DT - Technician's Diploma
Acquire one of the four technician's diplomas under an adult apprenticeship contract: administration and commerce, logistics, aircraft mechanic (cat. B), sales and management
DAP - Vocational Aptitude Diploma
Obtain a DAP under an adult apprenticeship contract or the DAP for nursing assistants by attending a sandwich course. Holders of a DAP have access to the labour market as qualified employees.
CCP - Vocational Capacity Certificate
Obtain a CCP under an adult apprenticeship contract. The CCP constitutes basic vocational training.
Achieving the level of a 5e class using the alternative route for qualification by attending evening classes or a daytime course
