Goals

What if anthropology wasn’t just something you read about but something you could live? Over ten sessions, you’ll travel through stories of pirates and ghosts, yaks and thinking forests, robot-gods and wandering mushrooms. Together, we’ll explore how humans and all living beings make sense of the world in their own way. This isn’t a lecture series, it’s an adventure for the curious: an invitation to see, listen, and imagine differently. Each class will take place in an unusual or unexpected location across Luxembourg places that echo the theme of the day. You might find yourself learning about forest spirits among the trees, ghosts in a haunted castle or discussing globalization inside an old factory. You don’t need any background in anthropology, just curiosity and a taste for discovery. Through stories, conversations, and shared experiences, we’ll connect Luxembourgish culture with worlds from afar, comparing local traditions, memories, and ways of living to those found across the globe. Here, learning happens in dialogue: everyone brings their own stories, questions, and thoughts. Whether you come out of curiosity or passion, you’ll leave with new ways of thinking.
