Contents

There has been substantial growth in the Luxembourg fund finance market, with more and more Luxembourg investment funds looking for subscription credit facilities, bridge facilities and permanent leverage facilities. An increasing number of banks and financial institutions now offer a large range of new credit solutions for private equity, real estate, debt, special situations and infrastructure funds.

The workshop aims to provide an overview of the available and most commonly used Luxembourg investment fund vehicles and identify key structuring, regulatory and contractual issues in fund finance transactions, notably AIFMD-related considerations, inclusion of relevant provisions in the fund documentation, security package considerations, conflict of laws issues, as well as the impact on and the involvement of service providers (depositaries and AIFMs).
