Prerequisites

No prerequisite is mandatory, however, it is desirable but not essential that learners have some understanding of the subject.

Goals

According to Luxembourg regulations (Articles L.312-1, 2, 3 and 4 of Book III of the Labor Code of April 26th, 2019), the employer must train a minimum of personnel in the use of first intervention means in case of a fire.

It is also asked to ensure the safety and security of its staff: therefore, he must train employees and make the appropriate and necessary equipment available so that they can carry out their relief actions.

This training allows the learner to understand how a fire works (outbreak of a fire, spreading methods, etc.). They will learn to control the beginning of a fire with the fire-fighting equipment available on site: extinguishers, fire blankets, etc.
