University's leadership team now complete

02.05.2023

It has been about one hundred days since Jens Kreisel took office as the Rector of the University of Luxembourg in January 2023. Among his priorities was to engage with stakeholders both inside and outside the University, to establish the groundwork for forthcoming initiatives, and to assemble a cohesive leadership team.

This team of committed colleagues who share the ambition of building a research university of global standing is now complete:

  • Catherine Leglu, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs since September 2019, will remain responsible for HigherEducation, student and campus life, and continuing education.

  • Simone P. Niclou, Vice Rector for Research who joined on 1 March 2023, is responsible for research, doctoral education, and interdisciplinarity.

  • Marie-Helene Jobin, newly appointed Vice Rector for Partnerships and International Relations, will start on 15 June 2023 and is responsible for the University’s international strategy, knowledge and technology transfer, as well as outreach to the society.

  • Marc Grabowski, Head of Administration and Finance (DAF), will take office on 1 May.

The University wishes all new colleagues much success in their mission.
