ILNAS / ANEC
ILNAS stands for "Institut Luxembourgeois de la Normalisation, de l’Accréditation, de la Sécurité et qualité des produits et services". Created in 2008 as a public administration under the authority of the Minister of the Economy, ILNAS currently represents a network of competencies at the service of competitiveness and consumer protection.
ILNAS as the Luxembourg’s standards body is member of European and international standards organizations (ISO, IEC, ITU-T, CEN, CENELEC, ETSI). In this context and through the "Luxembourg Standardization Strategy 2014-2020”, ILNAS raises awareness and encourages companies to engage in standardization.
In order to implement the “Luxembourg Standardization Strategy 2014-2020”, ANEC “Agence pour la Normalisation et l’Économie de la Connaissance” was established in 2010 as an economic interest grouping. ANEC’s mission is focused in promoting, raising awareness, training and monitoring in the fields of standardization and metrology, as well as applied research.
