Shared online, synchronous learning environment in which the teacher or trainer and the learners work together and interact simultaneously.

  • tools used in a virtual classroom include:
    • videoconferencing;
    • online whiteboards for real-time collaboration;
    • instant messaging tools;
    • participation controls;
    • breakout rooms.
