Goals

The objectives of this course are to provide participants with the best practices in designing and implementing a secure WiFi network and equip them with the necessary skills and tools for evaluating the security of a WiFi network.

This course will introduce the participants to:

  • Identify attack vectors, uncover, and demonstrate exploitation of technical cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
  • Test systems and operations compliance with regulatory standards.

Students will learn how to:

  • How wireless networks work.
  • Best practices regarding WiFi configuration and usage.
  • Important security settings for wireless access points and router.
  • How to test the security of wireless networks.
  • Understand different types and techniques used in attacking wireless networks and how to prevent these types of attacks.
