Objectifs

At the end of the Effective Meetings training session, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate and understand the three components to effective meetings: preparation, conducting and closure and follow through.
  • Understand how to write a proper meeting agenda.
  • Distinguish between meeting content and a meeting process.
  • Distinguish between meeting preventions and meeting interventions.
  • Understand how to write proper meeting notes and next steps.
  • Recognize the additional meeting considerations when hosting a virtual meeting.

Contenu

This training will supply an in depth look at how to utilize meetings effectively. As we know, meetings can lack discipline, have little structure and most come to the meetings unprepared. With no clear meeting objectives set, outcomes can be unclear and future action plans rarely go assigned.

As a result, we’ll review the basics around meeting essentials. And with global mobility becoming a norm, this program will not only introduce the basics on face to face meetings, it will also touch on how to run effective virtual meetings as well as client meetings.
