Sustainable finance

Sustainable finance, as defined by the European Commission, is "the provision of financing to investments taking into consideration Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations."

It is not merely a regulatory requirement but rather an increasingly demand-driven business opportunity. Risk is also a common driver that pushes financial institutions to invest responsibly, alongside other factors such as market trends and the willingness to create new fields of income.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to have sufficient knowledge to tackle the challenge of running an ESG and sustainable finance transformation project in their organisations.
