Goals

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is certainly the most significant personal data legislation in the past 20 years.

The aim of this training is to help the participant understand the impacts of GDPR on HR managers, and how to manage the internal HR data following the regulations on the topic.

By the end of this training, the participants will be able to:

  • identify the key points of the GDPR which apply to HR;
  • enforce the GDPR while treating HR data.

Contents

This session will give an overview on:

  • how to assess potential GDPR risks on employee data;
  • how employee data can evolve since the hiring date.

This course will also cover questions such as:

  • sharing internal data;
  • managing outsourced data;
  • sharing HR data to non-HR departments;
  • employee surveillance.

This training is coordinated by Vinciane Istace, Partner, leading the People and Organisation services at PwC Luxembourg.

This training will be presented by People and Organisation experts.

Vinciane has been with PwC for more than 30 years and became head of the firm’s HR department in 2003 after having worked as an Auditor and Chartered Accountant. In her executive role of human capital partner then leader, she structured PwC HR operational capabilities, and co-designed and deployed the firm’s HR strategy. This role exposed her to the diversity of all the lines of services in Luxembourg, totalling 2,850 people with the valuable support of a team of 50 HR engaged experts.

She is currently the leader of the People and Process Outsourcing (“PPO”) practice, proposing assistance to our clients in the field of payroll, immigration and HR administration driven by high quality standards and of the People and Organisation (P&O) team, providing HR advisory services from HR strategic design to implementation.

She has also the privilege of acting as the Diversity and Inclusion leader for PwC Luxembourg. In that role, she ensures the deployment of the D&I ambition.
