The course will provide with the basics on GDPR so that you will be able to ask yourself - and your leadership - the relevant questions regarding the processing of personal data and your compliance with GDPR

After the course the participant will be able to:

• the main definitions and concepts
• the 7 principles GDPR's principles
• the rights of data subjects
• the obligations of data controllers
• the enforcement

With some focus on privacy-by-design, impact assessment and international data transfer.

• The basics you need to know on personal data protection principles and on the regulation framework when you work in IT and with data
• Overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
• Presentation of CNPD and its missions
